Male Speaker 2: As I was [Indiscernible]] I bought a house, I thought I bought it I guess and the reason I said thought in October of ’08 I basically signed an agreement to rent this house with an option in May of 2010. Male Speaker 1: So you say you did on a land contract, is that right Kevin? Male Speaker 2: Right and then I had a local attorney and we didn’t record it or anything, I paid my rents and when I finished the basement and I was this homeowner I thought. And then in May of 2010 I would get the financing and house would be mine. And on Memorial Day, I get a knock on the door saying the house is in foreclosure. Male Speaker 2: I can’t answer your question properly. I would have to have the land contract in front of me because those can be really particular language. So what I’m going to do is ask you Kevin tomorrow, we’re open all day, give us a call at 1866-66 lawyer and I’ll get you in touch with a real estate specialist that can advice you because the language of that contract is going to be very important, okay. |
