Great advice. How about if you order your driving record, and it's still not on there? (Ticket about one month ago).

Hello, I listened to your podcast regarding the expungement of a disorderly conduct ordiance violation. I received a disorderly conduct violation ten years ago in Southfield in the 46th district court and pleaded nolo contd. My attorney at the time representing me told me that as long as I did not have any other incidents for a period of time that this would be automatically expunged. I have run a small business for the past 14 years which I had to close at the end of 2008 and now I am in the job market again. I learned about a state of michigan website where you can pay $10 to do a background check which I just did and immediately found this violation. I am concerned that this could be a problem in securing employment and would like to have the record expunged. Please contact me for a consultation to discuss the details on how to go about this.
I can be reached via email or at (313) 590-7714. Thank you.
